synogize is looking for a Data Scientist to expand our capabilities and complement our team of passionate Data Analytics experts. Preferably you are located in Melbourne or Sydney.

To be successful, you would need:

• BA/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business or analytical field
• Strong statistical background
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with managing data quality for high scale data processes
• Understanding of SaaS, Digital Analytics and instrumentation of features
• SQL is a must, as well as working with views, stored procedures, function across database technologies.
• Passionate about data visualisation. Experience with any of the mainstream visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Redash or SAP
• Ability to understand, manage and handle complex data
• Demonstrated experience modelling data in analytics and the ability to develop data models cater to specific domains—both conceptual and physical models.
• Strong communication. Ability to articulate complex problems/solution for the senior stakeholder to understand
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Data Engineering pipeline design and implementation
• Experience working with any mainstream cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, SAP or GCP

Bonus/Nice to Have

• Exposure with Microsoft Azure Data Factory or Databricks
• Experience with NoSQL (e.g. Dynamo DB, Mongo)
• Experience with SAP applications, SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Platform
• Experience with Python or R

Your day to day role will be working with

• Collect, clean, and manage data from various sources across the business
• Support the development of strategic/tactical organisation roadmap with data analytics
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose solutions
• Development and implementation of data solution in a scalable/sustainable approach

Remuneration will be $85,000 per year plus super.
